Signature Image Resizer Online
Resize your scanned or photographed signature to the width and height required by an application form. Export as JPG or PNG and optionally set a maximum JPG file size, without uploading your image to a server.
The complete signature is fitted inside the requested dimensions without stretching or cropping. Any unused space is white for JPG and transparent for PNG.
How to resize a signature image
- Check the required signature dimensions and file-size limit on your application portal.
- Select a JPG, PNG or WebP image containing your signature.
- Choose a preset or enter the required width and height in pixels.
- Choose JPG for a white background or PNG to retain transparency.
- If using JPG, optionally enter the maximum allowed KB size.
- Resize, inspect the output and download the file.
Signature size in pixels versus KB
Pixel dimensions describe the width and height of your signature image. Kilobytes describe its file size. A 300 × 100 pixel image is not guaranteed to be under a particular KB limit. This tool can adjust JPG quality to try to meet the specified maximum while preserving the selected dimensions.
Will my signature be stretched or cropped?
No. The full source image is fitted within the output canvas while preserving its aspect ratio. Blank margins may remain. Crop unwanted background from your source image first if the signature occupies only a small portion of the image.
Does this guarantee acceptance by an application portal?
No. Requirements vary by institution and application. Check permitted file formats, dimensions, file-size limits, background and signature visibility before submitting.
Common signature file-size limits
Use a preselected maximum JPG size when your application asks for a specific limit. Confirm the output dimensions and file size before submitting.
